"Raenko von Doehring" is my open field — a playground and a journey into the unknown.
It is where I let myself get lost, shift direction, and break rules — in search of something unexpected.
Because sometimes, the unknown only reveals itself when we stop trying to see something in particular.
My artistic work begins where the surface ends — in observing, understanding, and reflecting on what lies beneath. I use analog techniques such as painting, drawing, and printmaking as a conscious anachronism in an age of acceleration. Slowness, attentiveness, and reduction guide my process — a search for what cannot be immediately seen, but can be felt. My works do not provide answers; they pose questions, challenge the status quo, and create spaces for doubt and encounter.
